The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is promoting restoration of grassland and shrubland communities via collaborative efforts with 4 bird conservation joint ventures, which are implementing the North American Landbird Conservation Plan and the Northern Bobwhite Conservation Initiative. In addition, our programs are implementing the Tennessee Comprehensive Wildlife Conservation Strategy. Programs involving grassland and shrubland restoration include the Landowner Incentive Program, Early Successional Habitat Program, and U. S. Department of Agriculture, Farm Bill Programs such as CP33.
