In a report released in September, UCS found that Ohio has more than its share of invaders and some of the least complete invasive species laws in the nation. It, like every state, is seriously at risk as long as federal polices remain weak. Limited federal action, especially in Congress, has disappointed for decades. Now, justified concerns about climate change may eclipse other issues, even when, like invasive species, issues are closely related and also drive global change. The confluence of such big problems can overwhelm us. Along with the facts we take from this week's discussions, have we encouraged each other and provided the inspiration to keep from burning out? Sights, sounds, and words for "keeping on keeping on" close out this presentation.
